Here’s one of the last digital pieces I did after I got tired of doing them, probably a year or so back. I really really loved learning how to make digital art and learning techniques is fun sometimes but it was mostly frustrating cause I knew I wasn’t at the level of skill for me to feel good about my art. I did way too much comparing in my head, and as they say “comparison is the thief of joy”.

I just like making fan art and that’s what truly motivates me, showing how much I care about someone else’s characters or or what beautiful art they put out into to world, no matter the medium. I just did this one cause I love Vylet Pony and her music, I found her right when she posted Antonymph and she put into me the Holy Spirit of “idgaf, cringe is dead, I am free” and I started my art page in insta. I don’t regret it cause I made a few good art moots.

I’ll never forget when she reposted it to her story tho. As a newish fan with my poor digital art skills, I felt so ecstatic that she saw my art! I’ll always love that feeling when people I made art for notices my art, the thing I put out there to show I care about her and her place in the world and how much of the world is healing because of her.

Even though it was for the coin collection community, I really enjoyed making the art. I’m so glad I migrated onto here cause I had no idea I was missing the art for #vypop

as far as i can tell (did a tumblr search) i am the only person to try t figure out the lore to carousel by vylet (pls just search "Vylet theory" on here, the result is funny lol). anyways i swear to god the second im out of homework to do i am going to spend like 3 days analyzing this album from EVERY angle. its trying to tell a story but WHAT IS IT. I NEED TO KNOW.
