**For those unaware, the A.R.C. stands for the Anti-R Coven. It's this au's equivalent of the Circle of Khanna.
Got to working on these guys next as they won the poll I made a short time back. Even though it's the first time I've drawn all four of them, I say they turned out pretty great. Tonks has Transmutation Magic, Tulip has Gel Magic, Jae has Shadow Magic and Victor has both Water Magic and Blood Magic.
(Couldn't find specific gifs to provide more visual examples, so I hope the descriptions provided for each one will be enough)
Tonks displaying Transmutation Magic. Think Transfiguration but on steroids. This power allows her to alter the properties of physical and magical objects into whatever form she wants. This includes making stone bouncy and stretchy, turning spells into harmless flowers, turning fire into water, and so on. In time she’s also able to undo nearly all kinds of damage, returning an item back to as good as new. By combining her Magic with Healing Magic through Conversion, she can help reverse more severe injuries as well.
Tonks acquired her Infinitus shortly after the A.R.C. was established, and with some encouragement from Ricardo.
Tulip displaying Gel Magic. It allows her to summon and control colorful gel, letting her shape it into whatever she wants. She can also alter its properties, allowing it to range from permeable to nearly solid. When combined with other Magics through Conversion, the gel will produce different effects, such as combustion, healing, produce electricity, and so forth.
As a Secondary, she would also gain Illusion Magic. She can produce illusions that range from simple ones like extra objects, to more complex ones such as fake hallways and other structures. In time she’s also able to create illusions that mess with all 5 senses to disorient her targets.
She acquired her Infinitus after the A.R.C. was created in her 6th year.
Jae showing off his Shadow Magic. With this power, Jae can manipulate, travel through and even summon shadows. He can also create shadows that allow him to store whatever he wants. In the event that things get dire, Jae can use his shadows to hide or to trap opponents until he gets to safety. As his Magic advances, he’s able to completely block out most light sources in order to give him a needed advantage.
He would gain Food Magic as his Secondary thanks to his cooking skills. This Magic allows him to store meals ahead of time in special Recipe Glyphs, which allows the desired dish to be summoned at any time. In time, Jae is able to produce food that can heal most injuries, and even boost one’s Magic for a limited time.
He received his Infinitus from Reina as a thank-you gift during their 5th year, and he’s made good use of it since then.
Victor displaying Water Magic and Blood Magic. He can generate and control water and shape it into whatever he wants. His range includes controlling steam as well as ice, and in time, almost anything that has water in it, such as drinks. In time, he’s capable of generating and controlling rain and snow, as well as hail.
After being turned into a Vampire during their 6th year, he would gain Blood Magic as his Secondary. This allows him to generate and control blood, and congeal it so he can shape it into whatever he wants. As his Magic advances, he can control the blood inside other people if necessary. With Conversion, he can either poison his targets through their blood, or heal his allies.
As they met much earlier on, Victor had been part of the friend group since their 2nd Year. He approached Reina in their 3rd year and asked for an Infinitus of his own, curious about what kind of Magic he’d get.
I was so inspired by @avidrawsthings Vytarian Magic system that I pumped Rosie into their universe! I was debating what kind of magic they would have, from Flowers to Gems, but I think I got it down! They would have some sort of Fabric Magic, being able to manipulate all types of fabric and anything clothing related! And second, Reflection Magic! I think maybe it would work with any reflective surface, like hand mirrors or gemstones! I hope y’all like it!
Rowan, Ben & Reina | Talbott | Ricardo | Barnaby, Ismelda, & Chiara | Tonks, Tulip, Jae & Victor
Next in the batch is Andre with Fabric and Glamour Magics, Diego with Mirror and Light Magics, Liz with Faunus and Honey Magics, and Badeea with Paint and Spatial Magics.
(I had trouble depicting just about everyone's powers except Badeea's...lol Did the best I could to fix them up. Hopefully they're decent)
Andre showing off his Fabric Magic. This allows him to summon and control all kinds of existing fabric that he can shape into whatever he wants. In addition to creating individual pieces of clothing as well as entire outfits, he can also enchant them based on the user’s needs. Over time, Andre is able to create clothes that have extended durability, and even Charms put in place to provide different kinds of protection to the wearer. When dueling, Andre can control the fabrics his opponents are wearing, allowing him to strike first and even cause their spells to miss.
Based on his developing interests, he gained Glamour Magic as his Secondary. Once he fully embraces his Style Wizard identity, he’s able to provide make-up, different hairstyles and hair colors to his clients. As his techniques advance, he’s able to provide complete disguises if the situation calls for it.
He gained interest in Vytarian Magic early into their 4th year and shortly after he designed Reina’s outfit for her first date with Talbott. Andre wanted to further explore this new growing passion he gained for designing clothes, and asked Reina if he could receive his own Infinitus.

Diego showcasing Mirror Magic. With this magic, he can summon and control mirrors. In addition to acting as a shield, Diego can use the mirrors to deflect spells, absorb and then fire back at any angle, and even travel in and out of the Mirror World. He can also tap into existing mirrors and see through them, making it ideal for spying and gathering intel. If needed, Diego can use summoned mirrors to multiply the power of his own spells, making it ideal for encounters where he’d find himself outnumbered. In time, he’s also able to create mirror duplicates of himself and others to serve as a distraction.
He would gain Light Magic as his Secondary. This allows him to summon, create and shape visible light. He can form them into hard light constructs to serve any purpose, such as creating barriers or firing multiple attacks at once. He can also use it to blind his opponents, and will often combine them with his Mirror Magic through Conversion to expand his techniques.
He took up this magic in his 6th Year shortly after the A.R.C. was established, and with some encouragement from Ricardo. Diego gladly took the opportunity.

Liz and her Faunus Magic. She’s able to communicate with existing animals, both magical and non-magical. She can also summon constructs of other creatures to provide aid, such as helping out in a fight, or for transportation. She stores her summons in a special deck of magic cards. As her Magic advances, Liz is capable of summoning entire swarms of creatures to incapacitate enemies. She’s also able to take on a Faunus form of her own, which is the Vytarian equivalent of an Animagus minus the overly complicated process.
As a Secondary, she would also acquire Honey Magic. A sub-category of Faunus Magic, this one exclusively focuses on Bees. This grants Liz the ability to summon and control all kinds of bees, and create many different kinds of honey that provide different uses. Some of these types of honey include ones that boost Magic, others that heal, and some that can be used as a trap against opponents by messing with their senses.
She got her Infinitus shortly after Reina, Ben and Rowan established the A.R.C. in their 6th Year. As much as she had hoped to avoid confrontation, Liz knew this was a necessity in order to take down R.

Badeea displaying her Paint Magic. She can generate and control all kinds of paint, and as a sub-category of Creation Magic, Badeea’s only limit is her imagination. Anything she paints can come to life, and she’s capable of copying other Magic types if needed. As her magic advances, she can physically travel inside the worlds that she paints, and can travel between existing paintings. Badeea can also hide objects in whatever she paints, and if the situation calls for it, allows other people to enter her paintings as well.
As her Secondary, she gained Spatial Magic. This allows her to push, pull, divide and erase spaces at will. She's also able to create portals to any place she wants, bypassing the need for Apparition. She can also create portals ahead of time for allies to access at any needed moment, and manipulate the distance between herself and opponents if required.
Although they’ve known each other for much longer, Badeea didn’t approach Reina about trying out Vytarian Magic until early into their 5th Year. By that point, Badeea had been in a creative slump and felt dabbing into some new magic would get her going again.
Barnaby, Ismelda and Chiara displaying their Magic. Barnaby has Earth Magic, Ismelda has Doll Magic and Chiara has Healing Magic.
TW: Automatonophobia (since Ismelda's section includes a GIF showing creepy dolls)
Barnaby gained Earth Magic as it represents his strength and power, and how he uses that to protect his friends. I've always associated him with the Earth element for that reason. This magic makes him an absolute unit since he can manipulate and control all of the Earth around him. This includes other materials such as clay, crystals and metals, as they're also part of the earth. After exploring the arts during his Renaissance Wizard phase, he stuck with sculpting and metalwork. In duels, he'll use Earth Magic for both attack and defense. He received his Infinitus (spellbook) from Reina to commemorate their new friendship during their Third Year.
Ismelda gained Doll Magic as she developed a curiosity for things that were both cute and creepy. As she began to explore hobbies, she found herself developing an interest in dolls, especially after hearing about haunted doll stories from Ben. With this magic, she can summon and control dolls, use them for spying and gathering information, disguise them as other people, and summon them in swarms for attack and defense. She received her Infinitus as a gift from Reina after they became friends during their Fourth Year, a short time after the events of "Crushed".
Chiara gained Healing Magic thanks to her desire of wanting to become a Healer herself, as well as her kind and caring personality. She directly asked Reina for an Infinitus of her own in their Third Year as she expressed interest in expanding on her current abilities, and be a better help to everyone, especially those she helped tend to at the Hospital Wing. This magic allows her to heal many injuries, both internal and external, and in time she's capable of removing certain types of ailments and curses. It would prove useful in the event that there were shortages of certain potions and other medicines. She would also gain Lunar Magic as her Secondary. This not only enhanced her magic on any night that the moon was visible, but also allowed her to bypass the need for Wolfsbane Potions. In addition to maintaining control while she's transformed, she's able to still use her magic to heal others and herself.
Experimenting with a new chibi style and wanted to give it a go with these two. Ricardo's guns took me longer than I'd like to admit but I think they're passable despite how goofy they look. The bullets are fueled by magic so they never run out. I'll eventually have a more completed design for them.
I mentioned in a prior post that I'm giving Reina a soft reboot so there'll be changes. You can see that she has two skin tones from the neck down, and her eyes are partially gold along the bottom. Her eyebrows will no longer be a separate color and while not seen, she'll have the same moles on her face as her great-great-grandpa Ominis.
1980s Golden Trio as First Years showing off some fancy new magic, well Rowan and Ben anyway. Reina’s had hers since she was a toddler. Rowan has Paper Magic, Ben has Lightning Magic, and Reina’s is Rose Magic.
I’ll be using some GIFs as visual examples below, so trigger warning mostly minor violence and mild flashing lights.
Rowan gained Paper Magic thanks to her love of books and studious nature. She can control all existing paper, as well as summon them from thin air and shape them into whatever she wants. In time, she's able to alter the properties of paper by making them as soft or as durable as she wants them to be, allowing for things such as shields and even armor. While she at first used it for defensive purposes, she made the switch to offensive attack during the events of Year 5. She settles into a balance of both.
Ben gained Lightning Magic thanks to his desire to be several steps ahead of Merula and avoid her at all times. This gave him the additional ability of Super Speed. The power often spooked him at first but in time it became second nature to him. Early on he’d use his magic to quickly stun or distract opponents in duels. He goes all out during his reckless phase as New!Ben, but in time settles into a balance of attack and defense.
This magic is contract-based. It comes with a few rules that need to be followed.
You can’t revive the dead. The laws of life and death are absolute.
You can’t create money or anything that would devastate the economy. No use in trying.
Never use your magic with malicious intent. It will retaliate and turn against you.
Reina got permission from her dad to gift Rowan and Ben their own Infinitus (spellbooks) as early Christmas gifts. Currently in the process of designing them!
Ricardo in his Third Year showing off his newly acquired Rainbow Magic. This was at the time he first had a dream about Reina and travelled to Crystal Beach during his Winter Break to go meet her. She was 8 at the time. Ricardo was welcomed to the family and they gave him his own Infinitus (spellbook) as a gift.
Why Rainbow Magic? Because of his bright and colorful personality. It also represented his playful and prankster nature, as well as his creativity. His abilities ranged from changing the colors of whatever he wanted around him, to hard light constructs, to creating entire objects made out of rainbows such as confetti and glitter bombs. As he gets older, the colors allow him to freely harness the other Aspects, so he can use Rose Magic, Paper Magic, etc.
His secondary power is Dream Magic, which often manifests as clouds. He can openly view the Dreams of others and freely give anyone their respective Dream Keys if they don’t have one already. This gives them access to their personal Scape, where they go when they fall asleep. For fun, he likes to create furniture out of clouds or even ride them around as a form of transportation.
This magic was a massive help to him during his time trapped in the painting, as even though his body physically remained, mentally he resided in his personal Dreamscape in the company of others until his rescue.
He gained this magic halfway through his 4th year, shortly after he started dating Reina. She gave him his own Infinitus (spellbook) as a gift when they made it official. He was rather hesitant at first to try out such a different kind of magic. Reina eased his worries by reassuring him that there was nothing wrong with him turning down the power. He gave it a shot after thinking it over for some time.
It might seem redundant since he can already fly in his Animagus form, but I feel that the wind element just fits him well. It’d definitely expand on his already existing arsenal once he goes on to become an Auror. Opponents wouldn’t exactly be well-equipped to deal with blasts of wind attacks that can be summoned nonverbally, and without the need of a wand.
Not pictured, but I also gave him the secondary ability of Invisibility. Wind represents the freedom he feels in flight, and Invisibility represents his preference for being alone. It manifests for him as a large barrier that will make him and others invisible to those outside of it. The barrier also muffles sound, preventing any potential eavesdropping.
