it's been quite some time - or at least he feels it has - since he has had the opportunity to attend one of these lavish parties tossed about in the city of val royeaux so often that they have not felt special in ages. this one, though, was actually meant to be unique, hosting for display one of the artifacts he himself had managed to fish out of a ruined sanctuary beneath the vines of the emerald graves.
no one knew what the massive stone tablet said, scrawled across its circular face in an ancient text carved too shallow to have survived the many years in which nature had reclaimed it for its own. but the nobleman that had bought it from white lake antiquities had paid a pretty enough penny that vy'xas ithellin could not argue with it being better held in the noble's estate, pinned to a wall among hunting trophies, than in his dingy little shop that had started collecting dust from his neglect.
yet despite his readiness to detach from the artifact, the ginger rogue continues to stare up at it, lavishing that same neglect on the party guests as he does his shop in the corner of the city near the docks. his head cants to the side, golden gaze focused up on the worn away carvings as that telltale tail flicks behind him, to and fro close to the floor, but never touching it, lest the golden cuff near its end bang against the tile.
