虎紋深係膠原蛋白流失導致?

膠原蛋白流失會導致皺紋，大家都知皺紋有分兩種: 1. 靜態紋，好似乾紋及細紋等; 2. 動態紋，即係肌肉運動擠壓造成，好似眼角魚尾紋、頸紋及虎紋等。

The 20-min Miracle Facelift

If you remember having a landline in your house that you actually used, then it’s probably time for a skin-tightening treatment. I popped my VZet cherry at DermFx in Orange, CA which is their newest location and quite snazzy inside. They have a whole Breakfast at Tiffany’s vibe going on in there and they actually do live up to their tagline “The Ultimate Skin Experience”. From the moment I walked in the door I felt right at home, which coincidentally the Orange location used to be a house so that added to the charm of the space. It’s one of their four locations and the staff was very sweet, attentive and knowledgeable. I felt like I was getting a tailored experience and wasn’t being rushed in and out or given any pressured sales pitches which is always refreshing. For me the consultation is super important because that’s when I gauge my comfort level with not only the treatment, but the person performing the treatment. If you get bad juju’s by someone who is going to touch your face, then get the hell out of there. P.S., the consultations at DermFx are complimentary and you can have a consultation and treatment done in the same visit which is super convenient.

So how is VZet going to change your life you ask? If your face looks like a Shar Pei then it probably won’t, but if gravity has taken over a little and you’re noticing some skin laxity, this will totally tighten everything back up. Also, VZet isn’t just for your face! They are using this technology to tighten the neck, arms, décolletage, and even the saggy skin above your knees! The internet is calling this treatment “The 20-min Miracle Facelift” and it uses high-intensity focused ultrasound technology (HIFU) to soften wrinkles and lift skin. The treatment penetrates 149F of thermal energy deep into the SMAS layer, which goes deeper than the average laser. Subsequently, the collagen is stimulated and continues to produce more collagen for 3-6 months, which is where you get the lifting and tightening results from. The major bonus about this treatment though is that you will start seeing some results immediately after.

I had VZet done on my whole face and also under my chin. I just turned 46 and since I definitely remember the days of only owning a land-line, I decided for my birthday I would treat myself to some skin-tightening. I was quite pleased that one treatment that packs such a punch was priced at $500. They do recommend having a series of 3-5 treatments to see really great results, but regardless, I’ve seen other skin-tightening treatments that come with a way heftier price-tag or invasive surgery or both.

The treatment really did only take 20 minutes and they didn’t have to numb my face. For anyone who has ever had a facial treatment where you have to numb first, it can feel super awkward. The VZet was a pretty weird sensation and although it didn’t hurt, it did kinda feel like a dull ache in my cheeks and under my chin. It was definitely tolerable though and the nurse checked in with me throughout the treatment to see how I was doing. I was fine at about a 2 on the pain scale, but had I felt pain, there was the option to turn it lower. The whole experience was pretty relaxing actually, which you wouldn’t assume when going to get a treatment for saggy skin. They say, “no pain, no gain”, but they are wrong my friends!
