Victor recognizes the slithering sounds, although being in the kitchen he doesn’t immediately see who it is. “Hello,” he calls, turning away from where he’s got some soup boiling on the stove. He found a recipe in a cookbook and decided to give it a try — hey, the arroz con pollo turned out well! “If you’re willing to wait a moment, I —”

And then his voice dies in his throat as he gets a look at Luffy. Excuse him, he’s just going to gape for a moment.
