WAN2TALK? is a slow-burn horror/paranormal mystery set in a sleepy town. you're bored out of your mind on the first day of summer when you grab a weird flyer, and you stumble on a private chatroom. talking about ghosts with weirdos beats staring at the ceiling fan all summer… right?

LEMME JUST YAP....okay so like I found the reference photo on twt like a few months ago, and when I was scrolling through my gallery, I found it again and immediately thought of Silas sooo yeah...
AND BTW I wasn't really sure what Silas's tattoo looked like as a whole, so I took what I could see from the vn's art itself and combined it with how I thought the rest would look like...so yeah, I don't really know what I did 😓
this is my first time posting my art (tbh i only downloaded tumblr for w2t content) and also this is the first ever digital art I actually finished. all my previous art works on ibispaint have been dropped but I got motivated making W2T? fanart cause idk I love them already 🥹 I have a few more W2T? and WTR and other fandom fanart ideas and wips. not that any of y'all would care but idek if I'll be able to start or finish them cause I'll get busy AGAIN and I have lots of ideas but I only have beginner skill and very little free time.......anyways that's all hahaha I yap too much. I REALLY loved WAN2TALK?, the creator did such an amazing job!!! <3

Look its early days for this visual novel and I have only Mari’s asks and Cain’s ‘Zwitter’ to go off of but I have SOME thoughts and I am also so gripped by this visual novel that I need to create content about it while I wait for updates.
I also don’t think Cain is a yandere but I want to keep all my writing on this blog <3
Mari mentioned that all the love interests will have their idea of an ‘ideal’ date in the game (albeit tinted with some sadness). I have a feeling his perfect date would be the MC accompanying him on one of his outings, just the two of them. MC would be bigging him up as they survey and explore giving him some time to show off.
So we all agree you can’t have Cain without Abel right? I head cannon Cain is NOT an only child. A twin brother may be a little derivative however considering the hints of how religious his family are it wouldn’t be surprising that they named a set of twins Cain and Abel. Or maybe Cain WAS a twin but absorbed his sibling in the womb and got given the name of the first committer of murder and fratricide.
A little stereotypical but his necklace is more than an accessory but very much a religious talisman. Imagine an outing with Cain and something goes wrong and he gives it to you for protection.
I like how in his character art you can see a sliver of his stomach – its probably just the design but what if since he doesn’t get out much, he rarely buys clothes so he’s just wearing stuff from when he was a teen and it still fits since he’s so malnourished…. Kind of.
Secretly likes Death Note and see’s himself as similar to L only he’d have caught Kira.
Leading on from that I see Cain as a sore loser, who always has to have the last word or who gets heated pretty quickly when it comes to proving himself right.
It’s a little out there as a head cannon (or maybe not seeing as the VN is not all what it seems) but what if Cain can see things others cannot. In dialogue/interactions with him he usually is only looking at his book and is never described as looking at the others but there are a few times singling out him looking directly at the MC or stopping to look at them. Almost as if he can see something no one else can. He also seemed to recognise them before even being introduced as if he was looking at something familiar.
He does call the MC unremarkable in certain dialogue but what if that’s just to downplay this.
Or maybe its just love at first sight (jk)
On to the topic of Cain as a romance interest. Lets be real he’s likely a no sex, no kissing no hand holding before marriage kind of person. Only because of his upbringing.
I imagine his type is someone more modest and feminine if they’re a girl, or if they’re a man someone clean and preppy.
I wouldn’t say he would dislike someone who dressed more promiscuously but I think he’d struggle with inherent feelings of embarrassment, disgust and desire being out with them. He’d want his love interest to show their body to him and him only, not anyone else.
And oh boy, Cain is probably a jealous person. I imagine down the line he gets sulky and bitter if the MC spends too much time with Genesis or Lottie instead of him. And if they’re spending time with any of the guys well then he is just in a terrible mood and probably will withdraw from them for a while until they reassure him by giving him attention.
(A little NSFW) Completely in the dark when it comes to being intimate. Never seen porn, likely not seen a lot of television growing up that might have exposed him to concepts of love, flirting and intimacy. Skipped all that to end up in some less that helpful circles online when it comes to relationships. He’s more virgin than Mary.
Cain feels nothing when he’s sleep deprived and malnourished. MC is cold? Sure you can have his huge jacket but only if it’s the two of you, he wouldn’t be comfortable without it around the others.
Cain discovering he likes the MC would be a long and painful process. He’d first begrudgingly have to acknowledge that he was thinking of them here and there. Accepting them as someone he’s safe with. But after that the cogs don’t stop turning and quickly, he starts obsessing over them in the back of his head. Finding himself unconsciously doodling their name here and there in his notebook, much to his dismay.
If you ever want to give him an almost heart attack just grab his hand while exploring if you’re scared and get close to him ignore the smell. Yeah his heart might actually just stop.
To be touched is not easy for him but after a while of getting used to you I can see him enjoying the gentle feeling of your fingers. Mainly playing with his hair, combing through them or alternatively rubbing small circles in the palm of his hand.
In his head he'd be the 'man' of the relationship but in reality he'd enjoy you taking care of him once he got used to it.
Let this cake set for over a week, but I can’t wait any longer lol
I lucked out snagging this cake! White2tea’s super affordable small batch anniversary shou. Dry leaf aroma was noticeable right when pulling it out of the bag, paper not unwrapped yet. Super earthy wet wood smell. Wet leaf aroma isn’t too dissimilar, dank wet forest floor. Some fruityness in there too. The tea itself is very smooth and mouth coating. If it was wine people would say this tea “has legs”. A good amount of that wet pile flavor there, but mostly damn wood and some ripe beet or prune. The flavors are a nice enjoyable mix, I found myself sipping it for a couple hours with no problems. Feels similar to a lot of W2T’s other shou, many of the same flavors and traits. Wonder how this cake will settle over time, because it will take me a while to drink it all.
I’ll be slowly drinking through this cake for the rest of the semester. I love having a bit of shou after dinner, and I could see myself grandpa style-ing this one already.
