Inktober2017 Day 5: Long
Fifth theme for Inktober
I'm horribly behind but I'm pushing through
I've always liked Nukekubi and Rokurokubi yokais in Japanese lore and I have a horrible keenness for lolita dresses.
Also I went very awol on the inking haha
Wa-lolita geisha! Wa-loli is combining a kimono with some aspects of lolita fashion. I really like to draw Yumi from Code Lyoko!
Neat Wa-loli silhouette by @usagi_komachi. I love the balance of wa-loli fluffy skirts (OP used a hoop skirt? or is it a petticoat?) against wide obi belts structuring the top part.
Since this beauty was a surprise-gift I couldn't add any photos earlier... She was gift I made as a part of my summer swap in one of facebook groups :-)
This custom Rochelle was repainted, rerooted and stylized into Wa-Loli girl for someone, who loves modern japanese culture.
Wa Lolita is a Lolita style that incorporates traditional Japanese clothing elements while still keeping the Lolita silhouette. Wa-Loli dresses are often sewn as half-kimono and half-dress to wear over petittskirts.
