I feel like this season has such potential but it just made me angry so despite not being as bad as say season 8 it might be the most disappointing/infuriating
I just lost a lot of my gusto for this season. Mark was one of the best competitors and completely deserved the finale. I’m sure the “America’s vote” bullshit was a cover story because they knew they couldn’t justify sending Mark home any other way.
The worst part is that they've clearly kept Kaylee as fodder. That's it.
That must be it. They didn’t want to risk their faves (AKA Jenna, because that’s the only reason they care about Kiki) getting sacrificed in the double elim. Plus wanting an even amount of guys and girls.

Long time no talk but... talk about fucking Yikes on a Bike! That elimination was bullshit. I'm trying not to spoil because I don't know if you check your inbox before you watch. But that was a fresh load of bullshit! Anyway my thoughts: super not impressed with most of the dances but THAT STEP ROUTINE like. DUDE. and highkey tired of Mary and Nigel no longer giving actually useful critiques and just Vanessa in general. At least Paula knew something about dance! Vanessa is worse than Jason.
I don’t know why I thought I’d be free from the wack eliminations tag for at least another week or two lmao. Elims on this show never fail to disappoint me from the very beginning. I have no idea why Sydney was kept over Robert. I thought his contemporary was beautiful and I definitely felt the emotion from him (NIGEL) whereas Sydney’s routine was bland and uninspired, and she doesn’t really stand out. In Nigel’s defense, he said in an interview that he wanted to keep Robert and was outvoted, so I’m gonna blame Mary wanting to keep the only ballroom girl. Ugh.
The routines last week were better for me, but that step routine was amazing! I wish the all-stars hadn’t joined in tbh, but at least none of them ruined it.
What’s annoying about Vanessa is that she is an actual dancer yet she doesn’t actually ever say anything?? I liked her better during auditions since I felt like she gave an actual opinion a little more, but she needs to step it up now. I didn’t expect Nigel and Mary to give critiques since they haven’t in like 5 seasons so that’s whatever lol.
But what the fuck is that lame ass decision? They made an awfully big show about going with "Americas decision." In the words of the immortal Ms. Houston, "I WANNA SEE THE RECEIPTS!"
