thinking about how chase had a protection app because his father didn't believe he'd be able to use his intelligence (AND OTHER ABILITIES) to protect himself. thinking about how spike only showed up when his siblings were being awful to chase, and not during any actual life-or-death fight. thinking about the trauma chase must have realizing that, how much he hates spike, and how the show could've approached this in a more nuanced way but alas the show was a disney sitcom
