Branding for Beth Comstock by Leta Sobierajski & Wade Jeffree
“Our goal was to create a branding solution for Beth that would embody her ideas of change, evolution, innovation, and of course, emergence. As most tech companies are represented in some sort of hue of blue, we strived to shy away from that stereotype and focused more on a holistic and organic palette that could be broken down into acknowledgeable elements from her thinking.
We strived to have a hand in every aspect of her new brand. Her site is playful, modern, and far from traditional, beckoning the user to take time to play with the subdued interactions and explore the content featured on each page.”
Leta Sobierajski and Wade Jeffree are an independent designers and art directors based in New York City. They work across graphic design, art, photography and branding.

LETA SOBIERAJSKI & WADE JEFFREE: ART DIRECTION & PHOTOGRAPHY: U.S.
Artists' statement: "D.S. & Durga were pioneers in the DIY Brooklyn movement around the turn of the century. They began by turning things they loved into scents. At first they handmade scented stories of cowboys, open terrain, Russian novel characters, folksongs, etc., and packed them into hand-stamped boxes in their Bushwick apartment. They started from scratch, taught themselves as they went along, and did it our way (more Sid than Sinatra).
Similarly, we follow the same path with their work and strive to do everything themselves, from design, to photography, to modeling. D.S. & Durga found merit in that, and reached out to our studio to create their campaign imagery for their 12 signature scents. Based on D.S. & Durga's elaborate stories for each scent, we created individual vignettes that could embody the mood and story of each fragrance."
