I have a best friend who I used to work with who knows all of my secrets and who I can freely talk to about all my kinky feedism stuff and she encourages me to be myself and live my best life.
I have a best friend who I also used to work with who is always down for a drink and vibes with me perfectly and she’s dealing with a lot of shit, like a boyfriend who is facing a custody battle with his ex and constant car troubles and sometimes I go to her house and do her dishes and she pours me drinks the whole while and then cooks dinner for me.
I’m best friends with my grandma and we talk almost every night on Facebook even though she lives in Canada.
And I’m best friends with the guy I’ve fallen head over heels for, he’s just so sweet to me. Listens to me, buys me things when I didn’t even ask, we finish each others’ sentences. Hell he saw my ffambrosia dash by accident and like the first thing he did was offer to put on weight for me. (Said he didn’t have to and I’d love him no matter what but didn’t shoot down the idea entirely.) He wants to take me on a vacation. He just goes so out of his way for me and I feel like the luckiest broad in the greatest city in the world again.
