I saw that Izaya Figma with the red coat fluff the other day and was wondering what the deal with it is?! * _ * Using Google Translate on the little info panel in front of Izaya more or less told me that it was a Dengekiya (?) exclusive that was going to be up for pre-order (?) in April? But I have no idea what Dengekiya is though, and no idea what that would mean for an interested US buyer like me???
Your info is mostly correct! The Hachimenroppi version of Izaya is exclusive to Dengekiya, an online shop by Dengeki (which is affiliated with the publisher of Durarara!!’s light novel). :) And he’s expected to be up for pre-order in April.This means that international buyer would not be able to find this in the regular shop like amiami or HLJ (although the regular version will be sold here), and instead have to go through proxy shops like fromjapan or whiterabbit when he goes up for pre-order. Sometimes shops like BIJ or crunchyroll may carry exclusive items as well, but I can’t say for sure whether they’ll have Izaya or not.
(In short, it means we have to pay extra and go through a longer process to get him. ;v; )
Ahhhh, so excited to see the Drrr!! figures being re-released! This... may be a stupid question, but does anyone know how much they'll cost (Rin too, while I'm at it...)? :o Gotta start budgeting, heh.

as for the price, i can't really say for sure because figure price has been increasing a lot the last year. but for a reference, the original release for Shizuo and Izaya are at around 6800JPY, and Haruka and Makoto are at around 7800JPY. to be safe, i would assume Rin and Durarara!! renewal-release will be priced at around 8000JPY + tax at max. (hopefully it doesn't get higher than that)
