Happy National Flag's Day! Happy Fiesta Alapan! Last Day of Wagayway Festival, at hindi ko napanood ang Encuentro kanina
Reminiscent of the nation’s history, the Municipality of Imus celebrated the first flag festival as it seeks to make itself known as the nation’s flag capital. The event derived its title from the fact that the first Philippine Flag which was sewn by Marcela Agoncillo in Hongkong was first unfurled in Imus on May 28, 1898 following a victory by Filipino revolutionaries against the Spanish forces at the battle of Alapan now known as “National Flag Day.”
