"Pardon me sir, are you lost?" Ahdere had been observing the guy wandering around the Resistance base for a while now. He doesn't look familiar to them, and this puts them a little on edge, but their eyes are warm and their smile gentle. (wahderer)

Beau nearly jumped, he had been so into what he was doing that he hadn’t even realized someone had been there! He stopped in his tracks and gave the customary salute.“Sir, I was lost, sir!” he paused, scratched at his right arm and blushed. “Or, I am! But..” he gestured to the rough foliage around the outside the base and smiled. “I saw the plants blooming around base..Do they know these can be used as a good supply? It doesn’t look like they are gardening it or making mass quantities.”

@wahdererQuiet Me: I’ll write a drabble about my character trying to calm yours down [be it from crying, from lashing out, feel free to specify.]

Basma loved making people smile, whether they wanted to or not. Humans that were theirs though, they hated if something bad them sad, and they regarded Adhere as theirs.

Something was wrong, and it had to do with eir giant beast of a dog Leo. Now Basma adored that creature, so seeing em cry into his side meant something was seriously wrong, especially considering Leo was barely breathing.

Well, that would jsut not do for the little deity.

One sleep spell on Adhere and Basma went to work immediately.

When Adhere woke up later, it would be to the giant dog, slobbering all over eir face, excited and ready to be with em for a long while.

Or, for as long as Adhere lived, since Bamsa had to tie him down to another living entity. Ah well; ey didn't need to know that bit any time soon.

A slight shiver as Ahdere feels a... presence? Something, just behind em. Ey can almost see it from the corner of eir eye... "Hello? Is anyone there?" (wahderer)

David had almost given up on anyone finding him, or hearing him, or seeing him, and so he had taken to floating behind people, idly insulting their fashion taste and telling them how to fix it, but when someone–Ahdere?–finally said something, he stared for a long moment before waving his hands. 

“Can you see me? Please tell me you can hear me too, can you do that? Please?”

"Basma!" ey calls out. "Basma? I saved up money, want to go dress shopping?" (wahderer)

wahderer“A b s o l u t e l y !” With a giggle and a loud POP!, the little child-like god appears before em. “I am in  n e e d  of a new one  a n y w a y  for a  p a r t y !”

David didn’teven know what had happened.

All he knewwas that he had pressed a gentle kiss against Ahdere’s cheek, gently nosingagainst eir cheek and telling em that he’d be in the shower, so be careful inthe bathroom, and he made sure that ey had agreed to be careful, that he knewDavid was in the shower and that meant no bracelets, no control, and plenty ofconductive water, and so David walked into the shower, letting himself relax.The crackle of electricity filled his ears as he washed himself, softly singingunder his breath before he felt a hand touch his shoulder.

It wasinstinct.

That’s allit was. Instinct.

He hadn’tmeant to unleash the electricity, hadn’t meant to turn just as he watched thesurprised look on Ahdere’s face, the sight of the sparks searing trees into eirskin and travelling up to where David could feel it ruining eir heart, burningit and causing it to spiral out of control.

The briefmoment that it took for David to get the sparks to stop, to retreat back underhis skin, was nowhere near fast enough. They fell, David cradling his love againsthis chest, trying not to register the smell of burnt flesh and the fact that ey was unnaturally warm despite the stillness of his heart. David knew there wasno point in calling for help, in trying to perform CPR. Ahdere’s heart wasburnt beyond repair, beyond any sort of help, and there weren’t any impulsesfrom eir brain, and David didn’t even notice the mixture of tears and theshower, still running despite the fact that no one was using it.
