I have two concurrent grimdark theories about this: in the first one, the Master kills their own kids, Medea-style, to save them from a worse fate in the War. In the second, they were lost/erased from time in the War, and the Master just assumes he must have killed them.
:’) that’s so painful thanks i’m dead (and yeah i go mostly with the latter one, though i can see the former, and i simply lack the guts and emotional stamina to write it...dear god but in a way the latter is even more tragic because of the way the Time Lords tamper with the memories and perceptions of their colleagues.... )

hey so i had a weird dream where the reds and blues were moving bases i guess? and id agreed to help. arranged some flowers for doc at the new place but donut and Tex got so jealous they shot them into pieces. 💀 and i guess my last resort was to leave a lipstick kiss mark on his pillow bc you were distraught that the attempt at flowers was destroyed. doc MUST have affection apparently lol
