I love Fantastic Dollys waist ties. I should have fixed them before the photo was taken though. #angelicpretty #fantasticdolly #waistties

How do you wear cardigans with JSKs/OPs that have non-detachable waist ties, without having a giant awkward bump sticking out of your back? Even most boleros are long in the back and still do this. (I checked the tags to no avail!)
If the cardigan is long enough that it will completely hide the waist ties you could try folding them nicely against your back and safety pinning them in place. In some cases you could tie the waist ties in a pretty bow in the front instead of in the back, but it’s only going to look good if there isn’t already something there and if the waist ties are the same fabric on both sides. Another option if you’re any good at alterations would just be to make them detachable yourself.
