Belated update on what’s going on with this blog. I decided not to do posts about the press tour and information for Infinity War because it would be too exhausting (I have a job, people). I’m happy with that decision because I don’t feel we learned much more about Wakanda than we had in Black Panther. Also Queen Ramonda was not in it like I was promised.

I will be posting some stuff when I get the DVD, particularly from the commentary (which will be a week later since the physical one comes out after the streaming, and I’m trying very hard to resist buying two copies.)

After that my focus will be Black Panther 2, any comics that might tie into that, etc. It was rumored that BP2 would be out in 2020. It doesn’t look like that is the case now, as Marvel is waiting for Ryan Coogler’s availability.

I’ve seen some people complaining about having to wait. (Creed 2 is his next film, and he may have projects after that.)

I, personally, am happy as a clam to wait for Ryan Coogler. He made the best Marvel movie by far. I don’t want to hand it off. I want the same team back. I waited my entire life for a BP film, I can wait another year or two for a second good one.

Wakanda is always coming for you.
