I think it's during the 2 heart even that March says you're not qualified to run a farm, or maybe that's just him day to day, but I thought it'd be funny if he was right. So, I made Celandine: runaway rich kid in way over his head. He crushes hard on Hayden as soon as they meet but Eiland is the actual endgame.

Last year, I was working on a comic for a webtoon contest. I crunched day in and day out but ultimately life got in the way and I never finished the first episode, let alone made the deadline. But I did get a portion done. That's not what I'm uploading bc the files are too large and I'd need to cut them. A sketch of the starting environment. A world of crystals and stone. Freya (top, age 8) and Florian (bottom, age 22) are the main two characters. Siblings!

Freya!! She's a draconic archer who conjures a bow and arrows out of flame. A power any 8 year old would wield VERY responsibly.

I don't have my notebook for reference atm so my details are sparse. In short, she suffers an autoimmune condition that prevents her from experiencing much of the real world.

I designed them at the same time because I wanted to have some colors shared between them. It ended being teal and orange! Florian's an alchemist btw. Irl, he's going into early education. Freya wants to be a dragon when she grows up.

Here is where i've encountered an issueeee. It looks like, in my transfer from krita to clip studio, MY FILES ARE EVERYWHERE. so I DONT KNOW where a lot of my art went. Screenshots from discord I sent friends will have to suffice

So, the story mostly follows Florian and Freya but the core group consists of five characters! This is apparently I never named her. Insane, because she's a love interest. Sorry girl I did you so dirty. But she's the party's take! One of The Crystalline, who uses her crystal-creation powers to raise barriers between her allies and their foes. She'd also encase enemies, or create terrain advantage for their spellcaster! Irl, she has congenital blindness.

(The vrmmo headset was actually medical tech when it was concepted in this world! So, a lot of the cast follows a certain theme. Extra funfact, it's designed like a pillow because it has to connect to the back of the neck. And for comfort.) Her design took me the longest to nail. Here are all the variations of colors on her original pass. I made my friend suffer through deciding what looked better before scrapping the whole thing and starting over, ending up with what's above.

Such a worthwhile use of our time

Aforementioned spellcaster who's name also slips my mind. She's a Nephilim in game- an angel! Who are as haughty as one might expect in lore. And by god does she love playing into that.

The Nephilim have the most connection to Sylvone, the goddess of the game world. Their spell casters basically all of cleric vibes because of that, and their melee fighters are very paladin coded. Also, she's transfemme! And 14 so absolutely no being weird about her.

You can absolutely be weird about her uncle tho.

as weird as u want. it took me the longest period of struggle to settle on a design I like for him. He's the only member of her family she's out to, and kind of the black sheep. He plays as a beastkin monk, the details of which I forget but he's their melee damage dealer! A peak into my design process btw (first sketches of him),
