I shit you not, I saw the flames the moment after I sent this to a friend

Everyone was fine and damage was very very minimal. ALWAYS HAVE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER ON HAND!! MAKE SURE YOU KNOW HOW TO USE IT!!

Anyway this is Mnemosyne, they don't have their own face so the borrow faces from people's memories (put very briefly)

so my friend is running a dnd campaign

Inphyra Windrider, high-elf wizard. All I have for her is sketches but I really like her character. She've level 1 atm but I plan to spec her into bladesinger (thus the sword, which doesn't look like that anymore). She's a wandering mage and trained swordswoman. Disciplined, stoic, and as tolerant to pain as paper is to water. I'm flavoring her low constitution as an abysmal threshold for discomfort.

Session 1 doodles!! Guess who was downed to LITERALLY THE FIRST HIT SHE TOOK!! A GOBLIN SHOT HER FOR 8 HP AND SHE ONLY HAS 7 TOTAL!! I'm excited for the next one, our party is very interesting and mismatched.

Once in a blue moon sketch dump

I wanted to draw better faces, Emi was my dummy for some of it. I do a lot of my studying traditionally though so it's all in my sketchbook. When I want to use color, I switch to digital

unfinished hatsune miku. I didnt have a strong idea for the lighting and felt bored with it, so I didnt shade it.

Possibly a Radia redesign. Her outfit bothers me the most intensely out of all my magical girls. I never feel satisfied with it. This, though, I like. It feels too cutesy in a way that doesnt suit her, but that's part of the point too. Time will tell whether i keep it or change her again

After the Emi drawing I posted recently, I wanted to practice clothes more. If I can understand forms with just lines, I figure I'll have an easier time shading. I had a lot of fun with the last three

I turned 23 today. Exactly a year ago, I set a goal I didn't achieve. That upset me for a while, but then I realized all the things I accomplished without planning for them, and all the support I still have.

This year, I'll set that goal again, because even if I fail I know there'll be something to cherish in the pursuit of it.

Maybe, for just a second, he truly understood how it feels to be human.

On the topic of Radia art, I drew to test some color palettes on the the concept/design doc for cycles. Considering how lONG THAT'S TAKING ME TO FINISH, i figured I'd just throw it up here for now. Ironically this design is now outdated-- she got a haircut in more recent iterations. Here's her playlist btw!! It's definitely not depressing at all!!

oh god and because i realize I never elaborated on this, Nivi/Radia is the "MC" (technically. The story switches povs through an ensemble cast but we follow her the most) of my comic project, Cycles. It's a magical girl story about, as you can maybe guess, breaking cycles and what that means to the cast. You'll see me refer to Nivi with he/him and she/her interchangeably because his cycle to break revolves around his denial of his identity, and he doesn't come to acceptance until the very very end. Mfs is so deep on the closet you may as well call that bitch Narnia
