Save the Walbran Valley! Please write to the BC Provincial Government: https://www.wildernesscommittee.org/takeaction/save_the_walbran_valley_ancient_forests_forever
Months of talks between the Wilderness Committee and Teal-Jones Group, the logging company that holds cutting rights to an unprotected section of the valley, seem to have failed
Walbran Valley is one of the last tracts of ancient forest on Vancouver Island, and it is under immediate thread of being logged. This is unacceptable environmental stewardship. Please tell the BC Provincial Government that the land is worth so much more as intact recreation territory and cultural heritage than a pile of logs to be exported.
