Pigeons walking.
I wanted to repost an older walk cycle I did about 4 years ago because I still really like it (now with sound!)
Character: OC Denem Song: Peppermint Cats by SharaX Frames: 10
Slower GIF version below cut
Ashe (she/they) Walk Cycle
[Video description: An animated walk cycle of a kenku, a humanoid crow race from dnd, in various stages of completion from a rough body sketch to a clothed body, to linework, and finally to a fully coloured walk cycle. The audio plays a tap noise for each footstep.
Ashe is a scruffy crow in a white and black multilayered dress with purple accents. They are carrying a shovel over their right shoulder and have their left hand resting on a leather satchel bag. There is a frog toy hanging from the shovel's handle. Ashe has a troubled look on their face. Description end.]
In case anyone was wondering where I went, I decided to try animating another walk cycle ^u^ Unlike for the animatic though, I wanted to pay special attention to the animation process rather than using it as a means to an end.
I got clip studio paint to animate with but did the linework and colours in sai. idk why but clip studio feels so jarring compared to sai. It takes longer to get a lesser result (for me at least. Mind you that's almost a decade of practice in sai vs maybe two months in clip studio)
I sketched this out on the train. I haven’t really gotten to work on my animations lately other then on my way between school work and home, but I like how theyre coming together.
walk animation for our game, inspired by how the characters walk in the game Lil Guys on steam, be sure to check out my YouTube for updates @hiiirome
So like three years ago I made this sprite sheet for an Ettercap that I wanted to implement into a game, and I never actually animated it, but I found the sheet on my google drive and figured I would make a lil walk for it between writing papers.
I feel I have gotten a lot better and drawing walking, especially since the feet never leave the ground lol.

Eine weitere Frame-by-Frame Animation In diesem Fall geht das Männchen jedoch einfach in einer neutralen Stimmung
