WHICH WOULD YOU RATHER SMASH?
Zaramuun
Web Lurker
On the left is the zaramuun! Sand dune elementals, banished from thier own planes after thier deals with fiends. While aggressive, most actually don't kill you, just steal all your metal and rocks (supposedly taking what was stolen from the earth, actually to bargin with fiends to try freeing themselves). They also can mentally manipulate you and engulf you in themselves!
On the right, Web Lurkers raise, speak with, and shepherd spiders, having an obvious kinship with them. They're around 6 ft (1.8 m), create web traps, are experts at suddenly rushing unsuspecting creatures, and are venomous! Strong and dexterous, these ones are pretty straightforward.

Ettercap!
I typically hate spiders but I find myself kinda endeared to this guy. (He might have a dash of Admiral Trench inspo going on too.)
Thought to have once been a cult of spider worshiping druids, permanently cursed into their strange quasi arachnid forms. Ettercaps stalk the shadowy eves of long forgotten woods, and tunnels in the deep places of the earth.
