I suppose this day is pretty straight-forward: I got some vitamin C, ate it, felt better and healthier. Vitamin C Day = done. (In case you're wondering, it was an orange juice/grapefruit/kiwi/Innocent smoothie combo).
Okay okay, I admit that'd be a rubbish entry. So I thought I'd mention another day, that I found out about after I'd celebrated my OTT Vit-C Day. Because today, I found out far too late, was also Walk Around Things Day,
On the websites I use to research this blog, this day had one of the longest descriptions I'd ever seen. But I suspect that's because it was a sweet but very, very vague holiday.
The whole idea of it was you could take it in any way you want to- maybe you literally wanted to walk around a lamppost 4 times on your way to work. In which case, you'd be slightly insane, but hey- it's your way of celebrating Walk Around Things Day. Other interpretations include a day of exercise where you walk around things more, or the most intriguing- using it as a day of avoiding confrontation. Yup, apparently today could also be interpreted as a day to know when to pick your arguments, and to not indulge in issues you don't have to.
So if you did any of those things- avoided an argument, walked to get exercise, or walked around a lamppost 4 times (and I'm reeeeally hoping you didn't do the latter), then congrats- you celebrated April 4th!
Tomorrow- Pillow Fight Day!
