Cardboard walker gear.
Had a hard time finding a 3D version of the walker gear and when I ultimately found out that a papercraft version of a walker gear comes with the collector's edition (limited edition?) of Metal Gear Survive... I gave up.
That was when I thought: If I can't buy a walker gear figure, why not make one!
Made cardboard parts first then use pieces of construction paper (cardboard paper?) to cover most of the parts and gluing the pieces using white glue.
I used wires from my old school projects (in which I had plenty extra) for joints.
After two days of procrastination and waiting, I finally finished the main body for the Walker Gear MK1!
I'm now left with details, construction of the armaments and a stand.
I will make a MK2 of the walker gear with pure cardboard from boxes and cable wire for joints so as to cut time and use less resources.
I'm also planning to use other forms of resources for joints/moving parts. I got myself some small magnets that might be useful in emulating movement for the gatling gun.
Anyways, I'm done for this weekend and I've got a report to work on for the weekdays.
poor fella cant stand up on his own
So are Walker Gears basically armored segways
