I've been in my Walker feels with the bestie, @supernaturalkickparty , and basically thinking up an alt-canon from the perspective of Stella/Cordi being a thing in the background, and August/Stella starting whilst Cordell was kidnapped by Grey Flag... I really would live to flesh it all out in a fic eventually...

So I felt like rewatching s3, and opened it up on HBO, but the next episode in my queue was 2x14 so I was like ok... we'll start from there.

Oh, it's the fair episode; the one Jensen directed. 👌

Ugh it's after Geri found out she's a Davidson. But I'm not gonna tangent about her rn because---

I forgot the green cooler was in this! "I found this with Cordi's stuff." Lol they open it up and it's RANK. 😅 Brain switches to Sam-is-Cordi track.

Sam took over Cordell's life after Cordell dies undercover, and Emily's ghost helps guide him. 👀

Trey is one of the best humans in the Walkerverse. I hope they get him that psych degree, I think he'd be a great therapist.

But Cordell's thing is jumping in with his whole body, barely looking, because of his feelings in a moment. Things bomb with Twyla because she doesn't want commitment and marriage and counting the days they're together and messing up his family, she wants those moments when she has him. Geri is similar in that she had a guaranteed thing with Hoyt when he was there, but they both had their freedom. I don't think it would be stable with him there all the time. He would get the urge to fly for a bit, and Geri would feel overwhelmed by his attention and intensity. Cordell has a different flightiness (drop everything for the job), and a different intensity (hardcore commitment rather than hopeless drifter romantic), but is absent while being there.

It should've never worked with Cordri. (Well, and imo it DIDN'T, but I feel like that wasn't the intention lol) It doesn't make sensssse.

It's the very last bit of 2x20 and I'm on my StellaCordi bullshit again. Geri soft breaks up with Cordell ("it's too soon...for us to be two separate people in a relationship") and then Stella and Cordi are playing the game from the night Emily died, talking about how neither have played it since then...

Stella: "It seems like a good time for us to...start things over. Or...carry on where we left off."

Cordell: "You know...time was I never would've taken it out of the box again--i'd have never looked at it. It is so...like you--like your mom--to make me face it again."

Stella: "I didn't mean to make you feel bad..."

Cordell: "No, no, no, no, no. I didn't--I don't mean that at all. I mean it in the best possible way. Stella, you make me...feel. --You make ALL of us feel. It's you. You are the one that keeps this family together."
