Day 5 - Ardgillan Castle and Gardens

This castle and demesne is one of a few around, with sea views, large green spaces for picnics and the dog, as well as a playground and coffee shop, catering for everyone.

Only a short walk into Balbriggan, with the fabulous Lark Theatre for a concert or show, and a similarly short walk into Skerries with many coffee shops and restaurants to enjoy a delightful bite or refreshing beverage.

This is a must visit for anyone who enjoys a nature walk, easily followable 5k route, and a coffee shop for their pick me up or hydration.

Day 4 - Fingal Coastal Walks

Day 4 brings us to the stunning coastal walks available in north county Dublin. Below is a link to the Fingal County Council website where they highlight a variety of different walking routes to explore the numerous locations available. This is a useful resource to explore some destinations which are incredible for walking as well as wider physical activity and recreation.

Many of these locations are along the train and dart line, making them very accessible for anyone living in Dublin that relies on public transport.

[ Walking and Daydreaming 🌸] This month I've been getting back in the gym and making time to explore on the weekends. It's super a hot in Tampa right now and walking downtown during the week is a no-go. So I've been hitting the gym weekdays and exploring on the weekends. Got some good shots of the area as I went walking through the city this weekend. I loove watching and imagining owning one of the boats on river walk. Cool little cafe's and shops in Harbour Island. Passed by WeWork office space (soon to be my 2nd home)and beautiful skys all day! There's always something inspiring to see! Remember to take time to see all the great things happening around you each day. Don't forget to snap a picture if you can! What a perfect day for my recovery walk after a week of being poorly. Such beautiful sunshine on the running river, I just had to stop & photograph it. Today was the perfect day for a walk along port Phillip bay! I learned it was just 7kms from home in St Kilda to Brighton.
