Walking is a serious business. Whether you are popping to the shops or hot stepping it to an important meeting, there are some key things you need to consider.
Just like cycling, surfing and skiing, walking has some very specific clothing needed if you are to take up this activity seriously.
Do:
Wear a top. Whilst walking topless is great, not everyone wants to see your nipples and you might get arrested/sunburnt/mocked.
Wear some trousers. It's important you get the right trousers for walking. The easiest way to tell if trousers are fit for walking is to check if they have two legs and do up around your waist. Younger walkers may find that trousers that do up mid-way down their bum are also suitable.
Wear clean underwear. This isn't specific to walking, it's just a social norm.
Don't:
Wear socks and sandals. Ever.

Only when you have the correct equipment and clothing should you start walking. To do so before could leave you open to ridicule and at risk of serious health problems.
Happy walking.
P.S. Remember, if you see a great pair of shoes, someone wearing socks and sandals or even someone enjoying some barefoot action, then snap a photo and send it to our Hot to Trot or Not app.
I love comfy cute outfits.
