The Walking Date

Another first date for the books my friends! My title might have you assume that my date was a zombie but he was not! Thank goodness…

We did discuss the zombie apocalypse on our date where we walked almost the entire time. It was so relaxed and fun! We met by the UIC campus and went to his favorite Italian ice spot. Then we walked to Grant Park to see Passion Pit play at the taste. From there I made him go to Marianos because he had never had Orangina before (sadly they were out)…but he is on the look out now. 

From there we walked down Randolph and had diner at the Haymarket Pub. Then continued the night at Emporium where I thought the Gold Web would be playing but they were not…the dj was good though. He then walked me home and we parted ways. 

We are going to see each other again. I will admit though, he is a handsome fella with an adorable dorky streak. Cute though haha :) That being said, he was also kind, funny, honest and was able to hold a conversation. We have so much in common. He was also down to do anything! He planned some stuff and then I made suggestions on what to do next. He was so easy to talk to and very open. 

Overall it was very fun and I am curious/excited to see where it will go from here. 

Moral of the story: Go with the flow.

#So I went on a date today, and #we decided to go for a walk around the abandoned Riverview mental hospital (the most haunted place in BC) #because it was foggy and frosty and eerily beautiful for a winter walking date (Yeah we’re weird and don’t do normal lol) #I took these pictures with my phone but thought they make a beautiful aesthetic.

If you recognise any areas that’s probably because lots of #Supernatural and #Xfiles episodes have been #filmed here on these grounds…#Ok most of every TV show or movie made in BC gets a scene here lol #In fact there was a film crew there today while we were walking around on our date.
