Just throwing on seven league boots and yomping across Alaska like a motherfucker and yet Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida take an AI blur of days. New Mexico takes 14 ayes, fitting. Kansas 16 tenas, sure, sure, and Nebraska 9 bays, which...I don't think Nebraska has 9 bays, but my knowledge of the larger lacustrine features of Nebraska is lacking. It makes sense that Texas and Tennessee each take a state-specific amount of time. In Texas, yeah, you'll just die, either the desert will get you or the Texans will, and I know which one is worse. In Tennessee, it's them hills or the hillfolks, pray it the Quiet God that Sleeps Beneath it is them hills.

I've been watching or rewatching all of The Twilight Zone. It's amazing how relevant and relatable a show made 65 years ago can be. Someone under this clip said, "It'll still hit 100 years now." Crying.

How long can a trip to somewhere take and that somewhere still be considered walking distance?

Eg. The shops five minutes away are in walking distance, but the next city a 2.5 hour walk away is not, even though walking there is possible (this is just my opinion)

doing some research for a fic and, Central Park is a 13 minute walk from Columbia University???

And a 16 minute walk from Bleeker Street? But Central Park is so big that it would be a 36 minute bike ride from Bleeker Street to Columbia University. A 2 hour and 16 minute walk. And of course, Metro-General doesn't exist so I can't find it on google maps but huh
