As many times as I have read HOL, I always discover something new, something I hadn’t quite processed, and then things make all the more sense. Maybe it has something to do with life experiences, or maturity, or even the level of mental capacity had at the time of reading.. which I am only lately discovering is actually a very real thing. I used to think my mind was like an ocean.. and all the thoughts, facts, and emotions stirred together in a mess of me. However, lately I’m discovering how much my brain works like a library, holding everything together in sections. I’m working through meditation now to build my own mental Dewey decimal system, so that there is at least some sort of order to the madness within. I am currently attributing this feeling to the rebuilding of a neglected library. There are stacks upon stacks of books all strewn together, and I solely, have to put each one on a designated shelf.
