Shaun & Saskia โ Walking it off.
Why... why did she agree to go with Shaun when she was still trying to figure out if he was safe to be around or not? He was almost a stranger. She knew little about him and he knew almost nothing about her. She took a breath and thought to herself if it was a good idea. She didn't have that many friends, except for her boss and the guys from the bar she went to almost every night to meet up with her clients. "Yes... a good idea" she sighed before walking into the bathroom to take a shower and wake herself up from all the craziness around her.
She got out of the bathroom ten minutes later and got dressed. While she was blow drying her hair the phone rang and she flinched. She knew who it was. Nobody called her at that time, except for her boss. She rolled her eyes and picked up the phone. "Thought it was my night off..." she joked because it was a Friday and she had to work today. More than every other night. Bad choice. The yelling starter "Alright... Alright. Fuck, I'll be there. Give me an hour to shower and get ready... What?... Okay got it.... What!?... But that's not-.... okay... I said okay! God... I'm sorry. No, I know. Yeah, I know. I'll be there. I have to-... But-... *sigh*" she hang up the phone and leaned against the wall. Of course he was the worst piece of shit in the planet, but it was better than living with her foster parents. She bit down her lip and hit the wall with the back of her head *auch* and then her feet. She threw the phone on the bed and carry on getting ready to meet Shaun. A walk was a really... a really good idea now. And she wasn't worried about Shaun anymore.
Another ten minutes later she was walking out the door looking stunning because she was planning on going to work right after her walk with Shaun. A black dress and a jacket. Her hair up on a pony tail. Inside her purse she had a few other pieces of clothing to change to see her other clients. She grabbed her phone and left her house with a pair of boots on, her heels on her purse. She didn't want Shaun to think she was after him, even though she was always looking for male company to stop the loneliness that run over her every night. All the time...
She waited for Shaun sitting on the stairs in front of her building. Looking at all the people walking by and asking herself questions about their lives. Questions about her life. Questions... and more questions.
