yes! it's called fire. :) i think it's out in the us by now too and not only the uk? but i'm not sure.

sigh i keep meaning to watch it because like the first three seasons are just *so good* but i cant even bring myself to get caught up, its just so painful to watch

yeah i know exactly what you mean. this has happened... to me a surprising amount of times [shows slowly dying and getting shitty] and it's like possibly even worse than someone just canceling a show, because you have to... watch it become this gross awful thing instead of the amazing show it used to be. and it can end up sort of tainting the rest of the show for you.

OOOOOOOOH okay this makes so much more sense. i'm trying really hard to... hold out with season four... out pure love for the show. but it is hard. i don't think any community fan really knows what to do at this point in terms of season 4. let's all just roll around and feel awful about it together.

WELL. i mean community for me personally, not only is it [along the parks and rec] my go to feel-good show, but also just one of my favorite shows period. so in my opinion... they are all well written? [excluding season 4 haha let's not go there, and i don't know i'm sure there are a lot of episodes throughout i'm not happy with but in general it is very well written.] if you thought the episode was legitimately awful then yeah maybe the show just isn't for you, i don't really see... what skipping the first season would do. if you just disliked it, then - i always like to watch about 10% of a show before i decide whether or not to drop it.

i remember you telling me you couldn't really get invested in parks and rec either, so maybe comedies just aren't your thing?
