Today I realized MO from Wall-E isn't just some neat freak.
MO stands for "Microbe Obliterator"
When he Scans EVE Probes (And Wall-E) he detects "Foreign Contaminant" Which he immediately sets to cleaning.
He's obliterating Foreign Microbes- Bacteria, Viruses, GWerms, etc.
His Job is to keep the Axiom's passengers safe from Diseases before they get infected.
He's preventative measure.
That's why he's so obsessed with cleaning Wall-E (He does hate dirt, but it's mostly the germ thing.)
He's just trying to keep the Axiom from gaining a pandemic.
I haven't seen 10 movies in my entire 20 years of Earth who the FUCK do you think i am—

(Hello @aurrieattorney @heartbreakincident @autumnfangirler @sexlesssnakebaby) you must give me 10 movie GIFS and tag 10 people. I do not know 10 people therefore I am an expection.
The modern human characters in WALL·E are depicted that way because they're babies. Right? I mean, they get pushed around in chairs, they can't self-direct, they can't feed themselves, they can't walk by themselves -- and when they finally do, for the first time in seven hundred years, it's one of the most important scenes in the film! Why do you think we never see any older children or teenagers onboard? It's not a worldbuilding choice; the movie is about how nobody has been growing up!
there’s lots of world out there
fuck it. humanizes my over-a-decade old comfort movie. who knew what would spark me out of my mental funk would be the movie i used to watch on repeat as a toddler <3
