The Yellow Wall - Paper, one of the best stories to ever be written.
I talks about going through mental abuse while suffering from a greater darkness known as depression.
Jane, the main character I believe transformed from depression, to shizophrenia. A mental illness unheard of during those times.
She has compulsive habits pertaining to the yellow wall-paper that made up her day's focus. She started seeing a women, trying to escape a hell just like the one she was living through.
Was the women a mirrored reflection of herself? Maybe.
All in all, her screaming and shouting did in the end set her free, but it cost her sanity.
Her husband talked about caring for her, and wanting the best for her, but never once decided to stoop to her level and talk to her through her hallucinations and fears.
That women she saw, she resonated with her because like her, that women was screaming to be let out.
Jane was fearing for her life through her dillusions.
