starter for @wallacebrown
A moment of weakness. Everything in his life felt just a little off axis at the moment. There was too much uncertainty and he felt kind of stuck in the midst of things--with his rink temporarily closing down so close to competition season, being on the brink of having to move out of his apartment and still not having found a replacement, and experiencing hopeless romantic attraction for the first time in quite some time and--having absolutely no where to channel that. He’d been tossing in bed, fully clothed and rather frustrated, and it wasn’t even much past eight yet. He finally groaned loadly into his pillow and pushed himself up onto his knees, reached over to grab his phone and texted Wallace.
