Just thought this now...
Growing up I've always maintained some kind of "shell," in a way..and people are used to me being in that shell - the not so hyper guy who doesn't say a whole lot, just chills, listens, and laughs at shit, and doesn't make physical contact with people much (I hug people a lot less than I'd like to, almost never). People encourage me to come out of my shell..and yet it's like once I do, they might be put off by it (I could never tell for sure), as if I'm no longer myself or something ('cause they're so used to the shell), and they don't give it a chance, 'cause maybe they'd rather talk to someone they're already used to talking to... Pretty sure most people are so used to me being a wallflower...and so I retreat back into my shell most times, and maintain wallflower status...err, at least that's how I think they see me. I'm a special wallflower to my friends though, that's why I've always remained..rather than being scraped away to be replaced by another. There's a column of "wallflower" in this paragraph...I thought that was neat how it turned out that way.
