Random thought about ricsyung

After discovering the idea of OTPs i was finally settled with my favourite oil-and-water pair. Their push-pull moments always gave me life. The shinbang moments of Eric clinging on and chasing after his best friend. Their interactions during promotions. Especially when Hyesung was exceptionally touchy with Eric at the first few concerts of the year. After the news, it felt like both of them toned down a lot, the difference evident more in Hyesung especially if you compare his pro-activeness against the previous concerts. It was also the period where major Ricsyung fansites and accounts closed down, to my pity. I never stopped shipping them though I felt that there might have been an unspoken toning down amongst the fans. It seemed like shippers left; not all, but some have probably moved on. I was once puzzled about why shipping an OTP among 2 male members would fade behind the scenes upon the marriage of 1 member. But i genuinely hoped that the relationship between them never changed, that they can remain best friends and best neighbours. I think the sweet episode of Eric cooking a meal for Hyesung and leaving it at his doorstep is just added assurance that they're relationship is as strong as ever. Of course, all is for us to conjure since we will never know the story behind anything. But for now, I'm still anticipating more Ricsyung interactions 😊 They're just too cute. 😍
