Hi, I just recently came out as queer to my grandparents and asked them to use they/them pronouns but they refused because they believe God only created man and women. They also will not support me if I dated a women (I’m afab). They ended that with they love me and this doesn’t change their view on me. But I was hoping you could keep me in your prayers as I’m still very hurt and do not see their views changing anytime soon
Ach, that’s really rough. I’m so sorry you’re experiencing this, and I will absolutely be keeping you in my prayers – that the Holy Spirit will bring you comfort and courage; and that God will soften their hearts and open them to changed minds. I hope that you’ve got some people in your life you can go to for support and love, as well <3
