How to buy booze in Phoenix, Arizona

Step 1: Go to the crazy Wal-mart near your apartment since there are no liquor stores where you live.

Step 2: Park in the way back of the lot so you can avoid the crazy traffic near the store.

Step 3: Select a juice for your mixer.

Step 4: Wander the “wine and spirits” aisle for about ten minutes wondering where the spirits are.

Step 5: Realize they definitely aren’t here and set out to find an employe to ask.

Step 6: After a long search, eventually find an employe who will try to tell you to go back to where you were just looking. Eventually they will remember spirits are now kept behind aisle 13.

Step 7: Get in line near aisle 13 and attempt to grab the liquor yourself. Get told not to go back there.

Step 8: Wait behind a family that has way more than 15 items in the 15 items and less line.

Step 9: Wait as the cashier tries to find the brand of cigarettes the guy in front of you requests. (It will take awhile.)

Step 10: Wait as the cashier tries to find the brand of vodka you request. The one right there on the shelf that you could have easily grabbed yourself.

Step 11: Pay and leave as quickly as possible.
