Scooped this up at Wally World today! An 80s gem for me! As a kid I loved when I first saw this. As an adult I can see all the cheesy acting but I don’t give a crap. I feel like I need to make a series called: Shit I've experienced while working at Walmart in a small conservative town.

Because so far I have:

Listened to a couple of my team mates and supervisor talk about how they were sad they couldn't go to Trump's Tulsa rally and how great he is and paid no attention to the fact that the Hispanic members of our team nearby just got uncomfortably silent.

Watched a woman who was the definition of crackhead white trash get mad and tell a Spanish speaking man talking on the phone that he needs to speak english. (Thankfully he didn't hear her.)

Had one of the team mates that were talking about Trump before tell me that she thinks people shouldn't be in America if they can't speak English.

Had the same team mate say that she thought women who wear tank tops are disgusting immediately after a black woman went by on one of those motorized cart and asked us where something was. ( I spent the last 30 minutes of our shift leaving team mate to finish the work on her own while I went and help the lady with anything she needed.)

Walked past some higher up people who were having a conversation about how by taking these safety measures we are actually making the virus worse. That it needs to just run its course so it will go away and we will be immune.

Had a supervisor (shortly after our state finally FINALLY issued a mask mandate) say that if she's off the clock they can't make her wear a mask because she's an american.

Been "baaaah'd" at though I didn't realize what it was until later on so I just ignored the person.

Everyday is an adventure of Yikes.
