An exotic butterfly, Aglais Io. “Exotic” hardwoods used include: Irish bog oak, holm oak, walnut root, spalted pear and olive ash. Much like the butterfly, all these timbers found in Britain & Ireland, no need to go further afield. For my Nephew on his 2nd birthday.
