Walter Long as The Tiger in Pardon Us (1931) with Laurel and Hardy. Four foreign language versions were filmed at the same time, with Laurel and Hardy speaking phonetically in German, Italian, French, and Spanish. Some of the roles were re-cast for the foreign versions. Boris Karloff was The Tiger in the French version.

Walter Long as The Tiger leads a prison revolt in Pardon Us (1931) with Stan Laurel carrying a Thompson submachine gun that was also used in The Big House and Little Caesar.

Walter Long as the inmate known as The Tiger in Pardon Us (1931). Walt was born in Nashua, New Hampshire, and had 209 acting credits from a 1910 short to a 1950 tv episode. He was in five Laurel and Hardy films.
