LAST NIGHT WAS THE BEST‼️‼️💙

Finally got to meet my siblings and workers and a few other bots :]

Gave out some bracelets and a lot of business cards. Almost got recruited to work for a haunt house. And Rabbit told me I need to do voices when I read her book for drag storytime

Show was amazing

The show was fantastic on all fronts, but what really stuck with me was Zer0

Benefit of me and my brothers being some of the very few black people in the crowd

He made eye contact with us multiple times, to which we initially thought we were being parasocial until he pointed out how he noticed us upon meeting us

“I see my people!”

We felt really special as you can imagine. Especially considering that we don’t often get the chance to really acknowledge our own blackness. The black side of my family disappeared pretty quickly so pretty much, our blackness was just a color to us. The only time we ever got to acknowledge it was when it was when it made our lives more difficult.

It was really special to see someone I look up to feel a connection with me and my brothers for something I keep forgetting is a part of me.

I’ve been getting better about it in recent times. Especially with Kendrick Lamar’s performance at the Super Bowl

Also also, sorry for my inactivity lately! It started as a slight shift in interests, then depression hit, now I just use social media less in general. I’m doing better these days without all of it, but I ain’t forget what I left here! Hope y’all are surviving out there. And hey, there’s nothing stopping me from being a huge spg informational hub if y’all are having some questions that need answering. But yeah, seeya!!
