As I come up on 6 months on testosterone, I look at that picture on the left and say that wasn’t me. When I see and hear my progress so far over these 6 months it’s just mind blowing to me how far I’ve come. But then it sinks in that I still have so far to go to be whole. To be the me that I’ve seen in the mirror every day of my life and dreamt I could be one day. But this isn’t a post of negativity. This is a statement for me to detail the things that will go on in this blog. I’ll have good days and bad days. Heartbreak and triumph and I’ll try my best to document my journey for you all. If anyone has questions feel free to ask. I’m an open book. To close this first post, I’ll leave you with a quote. Maybe one day soon I’ll start to believe it as much as this person does.
“I exist as I am, that is enough,
If no other in the world be aware I sit content,
And if each and all be aware I sit content.
One world is aware, and by the far the largest to me, and that is myself,
And whether I come to my own today or in ten thousand or ten million years,
I can cheerfully take it now, or with equal cheerfulness, I can wait.”
