How did Mrs. Gonzalez lose her eye? How many prosthetic eyes does she have?

First question under the cut for mentions of medical stuff! 🫶💕

As for the size of her collection, I think Mrs Gonzales has collected DOZENS of glass eyes over the years, (mostly bought for her as gifts from her husband) but she has a few that are kept in the family safe because their irises are real gemstones! She breaks them out for special occasions, and Cosmo always recommends the ruby or garnet eyes, because he loves it when his wife’s eye matches his red contacts

As for her eye itself, she was born with one blind one! (Lil babey farm girl 🥺)

I don’t think Miss Gonzalez has ever had two functioning eyes tbh? (and yes, Cosmo took HER last name lmao) and even though she did have a gray, sightless one as a small child, I think the fact that it didn’t function properly meant when she started to grow it sort of? didn’t grow with her? (I looked it up, that can happen 😨) so to reduce the risk of infection and complications, Wanda had her eye removed when she was a tween.

She wasn’t necessarily happy about it, but her Papitio was quick to reassure her that she was still the most beautiful girl in the world, and her current day husband and son couldn’t agree more 🥺🥺🥺
