Cosmo: ah, my beverage? This is “tea”, Iris my boy- you must enunciate to be understood, my son- watch the way my mouth moves to form the syllable- tea- tea-

Iris: TEE!!

Cosmo: Excellent! Go on, then, claim your prize- gently, now

Iris tentatively sips, then SPITS with disgust

Cosmo: ah yes, perhaps earl grey is too rich

Godkid Support Squad 💙🧡✨💜

(transcript below, cw periods- mostly just writing practice for Dev and his godkid duo)

Fans Projecting thier awful period cramps onto Peri has always been a running gag from the reboot’ premiere, and unfortunately for my sweet boy this AU is no exception- if I’m suffering my blorbos gonna suffer, but hey, at least Perry can spread the misery too via magic 😂😂 (something I think any period having youth has dreamed of being able to inflict on others)

TRANSCRIPT OF BUBBLES

Iris is standing at Perry’s door batting his eyelashes, with a nervous looking Dev-lizard riding on his shoulders

Iris: gooooood, morning, my dear friend- Dev informed me you asked to be left alone after a certain “rude awakening”, but may we join you in your misery anyway?

Iris has handed Perry a handmade card, reading “sorry for your BLOOD loss” on the inside, with ‘blood’ written in big ridiculous splat letters

A disheveled looking Perry squints at the card, then snorts with amusement

Perry: tch, that’s stupid… fineeee, come in

Dev, appearing in fairy form: okay Kid, Iris told me everything-

Iris, interrupting: he BARFED!

Dev: I GAGGED. That’s DIFFERENT. (Muttering) don’t act like this isn’t gross)

Iris: he TOTALLY threw up in his mouth

Dev: ANYWAY! Just uh, let me know what you need and I’ll summon it, yeah?

Iris, pulling a treat from his pocket and offering it to Perry: cosmic brownie?

Perry, gratefully accepting: heh, thanks, guys…

Both Dev and Iris recoil as tears start randomly rolling down Perry’s face

Iris: oh no! My gesture- was it too thoughtful?

Perry, sighing: huh? Oh, yeah… this is part of it

Iris, now holding a game controller and gestureing at dev, who is also holding one: Perryyy, Dev sucks at smash-

Dev: gee, THANKS- I’m TRYING?!

Iris: Perry can you take a turn?

Perry: can’t. Busy DYING.

Iris: come onnn, it can’t be THAT bad?

Perry, scowling: Dev, I wish Iris could feel my cramps

Iris: bring it on! I’ve had a TUMMY ACHE before- (POOF!) HOLYFUCKINGSHIT (collapses onto the floor)

Dev, chuckling with amusment: hehe, wimp

Perry: you too.

Dev: WHA- ME?? WHY?!

Perry: perspective.

Dev, doubled over in pain: oooooooouuuughhhh this is the worst wish you’ve ever made….

Iris, crawling back onto the couch: dear god, it’s like tiny sharks are eating me from within

Perry,sarcastically: there, now eeeeeveryones having FUN.

Like in real life, the VAST majority of my non-cis characters are trans simply because they are trans, but Perry is an exception to this rule, because Time Turner’s magic fully intended him to be male, but unfortunately Time Turner is kind of a dumbass 😂😂 (Perry is a wish baby, wished for by Carlo! Tho of course Carlo has no idea why he and Wendy were FINALLY able to have a bio child, having long forgotten about his fairy godparent)

Originally drew this for the ask in the previous post (and for human disguise Time Turner practice), but upon rereading realized the comic was actually pretty irrelevant to the question being asked, so here this is by itself I guess? 🫡 more time turner coming soon, he’s really fun to write for because he’s the version of Timmy who fully believes he is immune to the consequences of his reckless actions and has never learned a single lesson in his many, many centuries of being alive ☠️☠️

Heya! This is a perfectly valid question, and the TL:DR is that there’s two Timmy’s in this AU! Arguably this is also true of the OG show, cause brother this is NOT the same man 😂😂

The left design I gave to Perry’s beloved older brother, Timothy Periwinkle-Cosmic, and the right design is the human form of Time Turner, Perry’s shithead magic uncle with whom he has little relation, but knows whenever he shows up, trouble is soon to follow (tho they don’t meet until Perry is a teenager bc Dev scares Time Turner off the first time Dev catches him “stalking” his godkid)

This old post goes a little more in depth (old art is old ☠️) but all you REALLY need to know is that Carlo and Wendy picked out a foster baby who resembled an old friend neither of them could quite remember, and said old friend granted that baby the gift of obnoxious buck-teeth, no doubt infuriating the tooth fairy 😂

Hello everyone! Once again, I had a lovely art fight this year, and greatly enjoyed exchanging Art with some of you lovely followers 💖🫶✨

I feel that I have managed to work out most of the bugs in the blogs immediate plot, and I intend to get back to posting asks again as soon as possible! In the meantime, though, I will continue drawing my doodle comics at work as well, some to answer asks I’ve gotten on THIS blog (sorry I’m so slow w those 😭😭) and some just to flesh out comic ideas that are to vivid in my mind not to realize fully

I’ve recently finished filling my previous two Work sketchbooks, so I took the time to transfer a lot of my thumbnails into the new unlined one, (say hello to Wanda, it feels appropriate that Cosmos is dirtier 😂)

Upcoming doodle comics include highlights such as Ved and Dev beefing, babey Iris w his daddy, Time Turner being Perry’s dumbass magic uncle, aaaand of course some teen and fankid-era PerrIris bc they make me sick 💖

Lastly, I think I finally figured out a Devzel dynamic I like, (and I have no idea where else to put this drawing) so in the current ask blog, thier offical relationship status is “horrible mutual pining” because they’re both DUMB and can’t communicate effectively ☠️☠️

despite the scale becoming larger than I intended, though, I’m really proud of everything I’ve made so far, and hope I can continue to improve both in writing and art quality. I can’t say for certain how long I’ll keep it up, but hey, if you told me two years ago I would still be doing this same AU comic today, I probably wouldn’t have believed you 😂

Iris was probably pissy for the rest of the night lol, not because he wasted the dye but mostly bc he no longer had an excuse to play with his crush’s hair for an hour 😔

Perry probably does like a purple streak in high school with temporary stuff, but hair dye reeks so bad I don’t think he’ll even be AROUND when Iris is touching up his own 😂

Since Anti Fairies are all about the spooky, do they celebrate Samhain(aka Halloween) in anti fairy world? Or do they not because original the festival was to get RID of evil? (Honestly it’d be kinda hilarious if fairies celebrated the ancient Samhain and the antis celebrate the modern. Even though keeping away the fae in general was a big part of the original celebration! )

Oh my god waaaitttt, I love thattt 😭😭 in the og show I remember coswan expressing that godparents love Halloween because they can go out without disguises, so I imagine anti faries typically don’t come terrorize the human world like they do on Friday the 13th? Maaaybe that means that the fairy council takes extra steps to strengthen the anti-fairy barrier that night, to prevent the spooky holiday from getting TOO spooky, if that makes sense? As a result, I think it would be really funny if anti faires used the yearly lockdown as an excuse to go CRAZY and party for the whole holiday, tho thier “parties” would be comprised of mostly mayhem and violence, as one would expect ☠️☠️ Lezah won’t miss them for the world, even tho she could def get through the barrier to earth if she wanted to 😂

Mod here- Howdy all! I’m very happy with the last few episodes of the comic, so I’ve elected to do some rewrites to make the upcoming chapters just as high quality, even going back to add a few frames where I felt they were missing!

Due to this, I wasn’t able to finish any more proper ‘asks’ before my artfight hiatus, but I’m hoping the month off will give me plenty of time to format and rewrite until I’ve made the story as smooth as it can be! The ask box will be remaining open, but please don’t forget to check the rules post linked below!

One more post for pride month before it’s over! Wanted to draw some of my characters with thier respective pride flags!

Perry- transgender! Perry was born a girl, but changed his name and gender presentation around eight years old to feel more comfortable in his identity!

Iris/ Angel: genderfluid! Iris considers himself both male and female, choosing to go by “Angel” whenever dressed femininely

Sammy: non-binary! Sammy uses they/them pronouns, and doesn’t consider themself a boy or a girl- they’re just Sammy, a secret third thing!

Ved: agender! Will respond to any pronouns, but most commonly referrs to itself as he/it- frankly he’s not sure what yall are on about, Ved’s got dimensions to research!

Hazel: bisexual! This one is basically canon tbh

Dev: asexual! While dev IS grossed out by being touched by anyone, he is NOT aromantic and has been known to experience crushes/ romantic feelings- cringe though he finds them

Winn: pansexual and nonbinary! Winn uses they/them pronouns, and has dated all kinds of faires in the past

Carlo: Lesbian! While yes, Carlo has transitioned to be masc-presenting, he still doesn’t really consider himself “male” exclusively, still loving to occasionally “cross dress” and finding comfort in continuing to identify with the label he felt most connected to in his youth!

“Culture Shock” AU doodle comic

Wanted to draw a comic shining a light on Ved and Hazels tragic childhood friendship, that also illustrates that fact that even before he went Legit insane, Ved was always kinda “like that” ☠️☠️

timmy must have been so happy when he heard he was gonna be a big brother :')

He was! Almost as happy as his parents!

After years of trying for a biochild and eventually deciding to adopt thier beloved Timothy, finding out they were expecting was BEYOND a dream come true for Wendy and Carlo uwu 💖💚

(If you’re wondering why there’s a human Timmy AND a fairy Timmy, I’ll be posting some more info about the two characters once I doodle some visual aides, but the short answer is that Timothy is named after time turner, and is otherwise just a regular human!)
