✑ wanderer-clem has entered the castle
While Daniel was momentarily taken aback by the peculiar garments the little girl wore, the thought was soon lost to pondering of how he should deal with the child. Alexander wouldn't be all too pleased with unexpected company, he imagined. He would really have to ask about this the next time he saw the baron. Whenever that would be. He still had yet to figure out what the older man did all the time; the details of his protection were unknown to him, unfortunately. If Alexander showed his face more often instead of leaving him alone for days, sometimes even weeks on end, maybe he wouldn't have such an issue with the influx of guests the castle received lately.
"Excuse me," he began, trying to catch her attention. "You shouldn't wander around the castle all by yourself. You could get lost." There were still many places in Brennenburg he had yet to venture due to Alexander forbidding entry to him. God forbid if she'd gone astray someplace he wasn't allowed to be in. She might never have been found.
"Is your family nearby?" he asked, hoping that she really wasn't alone like he assumed.
