y'know what. i'm gonna just. minecraft theory post, starting with my biggest pet peeve
THERE AIN'T NO FUCKING ANCIENT BUILDERS
look at these, from the minecraft wiki.
normal trail ruin! a few colors.
trail ruins have stable-like structures, simple buildings like smiths, they're almost like rest stops on a trail.
who'd stop at rest stops on long trails, need stables for, say, their llamas, and has a red, yellow, and blue motif? lets look at an image off google i grabbed in 3 seconds.
the wandering trader wears the same colors, and thanks to the newest drop on bedrock, we know that abandoned camps are the "wandering trader's stashes" (paraphrased).
so, this common look for wandering traders, Known to build (thanks to the abandoned camps), who have llamas and wander between settlements, trading with the player and other villages.
I wonder who built the rest stops that are screaming
"WANDERING TRADER REST STOP RIGHT HERE!!!"
at the top of their lungs.
