I don't recall it being mentioned how exactly were Eindis and Einarr separated, like yeah the raid happened, but why did they have to go separate ways?
yes i actually scrolled your blog somewhere to 2025 autumn-summer trying to find any answers
and found some really cool arts from half a year ago (and older too) I've never stumbled upon before??(bc i wasn't into MWAU that time probably), or have stumbled. but appreciated again
Good question! I’m very glad you asked
*clears throat*
Night. A thunderstorm. And on the horizon, the roofs of their village are burning crimson. But then, something happened that they hadn't even considered possible. Lightning struck Eindis. Einarr was far enough away to be unharmed, but close enough to see what his sister had turned into. He still hears her hysterical laughter and sobbing in his nightmares. All the monsters that had been chasing them lost interest in Eindis and turned toward Einarr. He was terrified. He was just nitwit. He was so scared that his first instinct was to run. He didn't check to see if his sister was following him, but he could hear her laughter behind him, a fading wail. He spent the whole night trembling in fear, hiding from the beasts. But when morning came, there were only bones and scraps of rotting flesh left in the field. Eindis was not among them. There was only the grass, scorched by the lightning strike. She wasn't in the village either — there was no one left there. Not a single survivor. Only Einarr remained, consumed by self-hatred for the fact that, that night, his fear had made the decisions for him. After all, it was his own cowardice that cost him the person closest to him. He didn't have to run away alone; he could have stepped back, grabbed his sister’s hand, or simply scooped her up and run. But he was too terrified. The raid, the destruction of his village, the monsters, the storm — it was all too much for a simple nitwit.
Einarr promised himself that he would find Eindis and never leave her again. She is alive, and that was never in question. It doesn’t matter where, it doesn’t matter with whom, it doesn’t matter how far…
Something like that! As for my characters, I’m afraid I spend more time developing them in my head than actually posting about them. I have so many ideas and details, but I haven't been drawing as much lately:(
