I haven’t chosen yet that’s too big of a responsibility but I’m leaning towards Unlimited Tacos just bc Materially, the Los Angeles Tacos became the Unlimited Tacos. Ahhhh yeah I definitely read that phrasing wrong. We absolutely always record with all the actors in the same room (except for a few, tiny instances). I would never think about recording a different way, which is why I think I interpreted this question differently - actors can play with their performances a lot more when they’re with their scene partner!

Lalasa and Tian never adopt kids (or if they do it’s way later), but years of working for Kel rubbed off on Lalasa a bit. Shortly after business at Lalasa’s shop is consistent and steady, a preteen/teenage girl starts coming in a lot asking if there are chores to do, and even when there isn’t/Lalasa can’t pay her she still hangs around and makes herself busy anyways. Eventually it becomes obvious she doesn’t want to go home, so Lalasa and Tian have a discussion and decide she can stay. They keep her busy, but she gets food and a pallet and coin and they keep all the boys away from her peace. Her stitching is good, but she’s not going to ever become Lalasa’s protégé or the like. She has a really good head for figures though, and takes over all of the accounting and supplies parts. 

She’s somewhere between Lalasa and Tian’s daughter and employee, they try not to think too hard about it. Lalasa enjoys having someone she can dress up a bit and talk fashion with, (and who won’t rip the seams on her clothing every single day). Tian likes having another person to cook for, and also someone else who can do the cooking when things get busy and Lalasa and Tian are spending all week on another dress for Thayet.

oh definitely I’m turning the last two scenes into actual scenes and then it’ll be in the final edit stage where I have it on ao3 as a draft and comb through it making sure everything looks correct because apparently aesthetic placement of sentences is something I’m weird about, but, like.... probably two hours?
